Object Value |
The Object Value data source type is used to read data from another object on the template. This value is a concatenation of all data sources for the selected object.
In addition to the Name and Type options (refer to Data Source tab), when Object Value is selected as the data source type, the following additional options are available:
Object Name. Specifies the object whose data will be read.
Value. Specifies the data that will be read into the selected data source. Available options include:
Main Data Source. Uses the entire contents of the referenced object.
Human Readable Text. If available, uses only the human readable text data of the referenced object. Available for barcode objects.
Primary Data. Uses the data contained within the first data source of the referenced object. Available for GS1 Composite barcode objects only.
Secondary Data. Uses the data contained within the data source following the separator of the referenced object. Available for GS1 Composite barcode objects only.
Primary Human Readable Text. Uses the human readable text data of the first data source of the referenced object. Available for GS Composite barcode objects only.
Secondary Human Readable Text. Uses the human readable text data of the data source following the separator of the referenced object. Available for GS1 Composite barcode objects only.
Hexadecimal Encoded Data. Uses the RFID Hexadecimal Encoded data of the referenced object, if available.
