PosiCode is a position-based symbology, which means that all of the bars are the same width and the centers of the bars are laid out on an imaginary grid of equally spaced parallel lines. The distance between these grid lines is called the G dimension, and the width of the bars is called the W dimension. The combination of these two dimensions is similar to the X dimension of other barcodes. |
