This tab displays a color wheel that includes a selector that you can drag to specify the color that you want and a lightness slider that you can use to make the selected color lighter or darker.

Auto: Restores any color that was applied to the currently selected item to the default color. Available when an item uses a default color.

None: Removes any color that was applied to the currently selected item. Available when an item supports having no color.

Recently used colors area: Displays the colors that you have recently used in the current BarTender installation. Click a color to apply it to the currently selected item.

: Picks up the color of an item or location that you click on the template or form and then applies it to the currently selected item.

Gradient, Pattern, or Texture: Opens the More Fill Options dialog so that you can apply a gradient, pattern, picture, or texture to the selected item. Available for items that support gradients, patterns, pictures, and textures.

Color Model: Specifies the color model to use. The following options are available:

RGB: Specifies the RGB color model. When you select this option, you can use the Red, Green, and Blue fields to enter the specific RGB values that you want.

HSL: Specifies the HSL color model. When you select this option, you can use the Hue, Saturation, and Lightness fields to enter the specific HSL values that you want.

Hex: Displays the hexadecimal value of the currently selected color. You can manually enter the hex value that you want in this field.

New/Current: Displays the new color that you selected and the current color of the selected item.

Set via data source: Opens the Data Sourced Color dialog so that you can specify a data-sourced color for the currently selected item. For more information, refer to Using Data-Sourced Color. Available when you are configuring properties that support color for text, barcode, line, and shape objects.
