Enabling Security

In the Administration Console left Navigation Pane, click the Security node to open the Security page.

Click to select the Enable Security for this PC check box.

In the Security Storage area, select the location that you want for storing security information.

In the Error Handling area, select the error handling method that you want, as appropriate.

After you have enabled security for your BarTender application, you can add further security controls by using the following methods:

• Defining User Permissions

• Logging Permission Checks

• Requiring Electronic Signatures

• Encrypting Documents
