A dropdown text input box control, is an entry box displayed on the data entry form into which data is entered in response to a user prompt. This control allows the user to type several lines of data, but displays as only one line of space when not selected. One possible use for this control is as a "notes" field. If a default reply has been defined, it will be displayed in the entry box when BarTender displays the data entry form.

Dropdown Text Input Box Properties Dialog

The Dropdown Text Input Box Properties dialog specifies the properties of a dropdown text input box control on a data entry form. To open this dialog, double-click on the control. Alternatively, select Properties from the control's context menu.
