Scale Appearance Dialog |
Use the Scale Appearance dialog, which you can access by clicking the icon next to the Appearance property on the Scale property page, to select from a list of built-in gauges for your scale that display the weight when the data entry form appears at print time. You can configure the selected gauge by selecting a different theme or by adjusting the values in the property grid. A preview image shows the appearance of the scale based on the settings that you select in the dialog.
The following options are available.
Scale
Type: Specifies the shape of the scale gauge.
Theme: Specifies the design of the scale gauge, including its colors, fonts, shapes, and borders.
Properties Grid: Adjusts the settings on the gauge and the scale display control, so that it appears exactly the way that you want it on the data entry form. By using the Properties Grid, you can configure the following settings.
Scale Display Options
Border style: Displays a border around the scale display control.
Major divisions: Specifies the number of major divisions that are displayed on the gauge. Available for circular gauges only.
Maximum value: Sets the maximum weight value that is displayed on the gauge. Available for circular gauges only.
Minimum value: Sets the minimum weight value that is displayed on the gauge. Available for circular gauges only.
Minor divisions: Specifies the number of minor divisions that are displayed between two major divisions. Available for circular gauges only.
Tick mark text point size: Sets the point size of the tick mark text. Available for circular gauges only.
Decimal digits: Specifies the number of digits that follow the decimal point on the gauge. Available for digital gauges only.
Digit count: Specifies the total number of digits that are displayed on the gauge. Available for digital gauges only.
Scale Toolbar Options
Show "Capture/Redo" button: Indicates whether the Capture/Redo button is visible on the scale display control.
Show Clear Tare button: Indicates whether the Clear Tare button is visible on the scale display control.
Show Tare button: Indicates whether the Tare button is visible on the scale display control.
Text Display Options
Decimal places: Indicates the number of digits that follow the decimal point for the text below the gauge.
Show captured weight: Indicates whether the captured weight is visible on the scale display control.
Show gross weight: Indicates whether the total weight, including packaging, is visible on the scale display control.
Show net weight: Indicates whether the weight of the product, excluding any packaging, is visible on the scale display control.
Show tare weight: Indicates whether the weight of only the product's packaging is visible on the scale display control.
Show weight units: Indicates whether the scale's unit of measurement is visible on the scale display control.
