Modifying the Appearance of Controls and Objects |
When you place controls and objects on the data entry form, you are likely to want to customize them to make your form easier to use or perhaps to follow in-house standards. These modifications might include resizing objects, moving objects, changing font styles and colors, and so on.
You can drag the control or object to the dimensions that you want, or you can edit the Width and Height options on the property page of the control or object.
Arranging Controls and Objects
To arrange data entry controls and objects on your data entry form, you can use copy and paste commands, drag-and-drop operations, alignment tools, and object snapping guides. You can also control the stacking order of data entry form objects.
Changing the Color of Controls and Objects
You can adjust the color of controls and objects by creating custom colors and adding interesting fills such as gradients, patterns, textures, and pictures.
By using the Format Painter tool, you can apply styles quickly from one control or object to another control or object, which saves you the time of customizing each one individually.
Selecting and Modifying Multiple Controls and Objects
You can group multiple controls and objects so that you can move them and modify their properties at the same time. You can use this group temporarily, or you can specify the selected elements as a more permanent group so that you can subsequently select the whole group again with a single click.
