Changing the Color of Controls and Objects

Control/Object	Property Page	Toolbar Option
Data entry controls	The Color option is available on Font property pages for controls that support color customization.	Alternatively, the color icon is also enabled in the text toolbar when you have selected a data entry control that supports color customization of the font or text properties.
Text objects	The Color option is available on the Font property page.	Alternatively, the color icon is also enabled in the text toolbar when you have selected a text object.
Line objects	The Color option is available on the Line property page.	Alternatively, the color icon is also enabled in the line and shape toolbar when you have selected a line object.
Shape objects	The Color option is available for Line and Fill properties on the Shape property page.	Alternatively, the color icon (line) and color icon (fill) are also enabled in the line and shape toolbar when you have selected a shape object.

On the data entry form, select the control or object whose color you want to change.
Open the Properties dialog by double-clicking on the control or object. Alternatively, select Properties from the control's or object's context menu.
Select the appropriate property page for the property whose color you want to change.
Click on the Color option and select the color that you want from the list of available colors. For more advanced options, consider the following:

If the color you wish to use is unavailable, select More Colors to open the Colors dialog, and make your selection from the additional color choices. Alternatively, click on the Custom tab to select a custom color.
If you prefer to add a more complex visual element to the property such as a gradient color, pattern, texture, or picture, select More Fill Options to open the More Fill Options dialog.

On the data entry form, select the control or object whose color you want to change.
Click on the toolbar shortcut for the Color option of the property you wish to change and select the color that you want from the list of available colors. For more advanced options, consider the following:
