Configuring Print Station |
After you install Print Station, you must specify the configuration settings so that you can control security, define user access to files, and make sure that Print Station looks and behaves the way that fits your company's needs. You can configure most of these settings by using the Administrative Setup dialog.
When you run Print Station for the first time, the Specify Folder dialog is displayed. You can use this dialog to specify the folder that Print Station monitors for BarTender documents and process files. For Print Station to work correctly, you must specify a folder for Print Station to monitor.
A root folder is a directory on your computer or a network that contains one or more BarTender files, including documents, process files, and/or BTXML script files. You can create new root folders on the Root Folders property page of the Administrative Setup dialog.
Use the Administrative Setup dialog to configure application settings for Print Station, such as print options, view options, regional settings, security settings, and so on.
