Specify Folder Dialog |
When you run Print Station for the first time, the Specify Folder dialog is displayed. You can use this dialog to specify the folder that is monitored for BarTender documents and command files. If you specify an invalid folder location, Print Station will not continue.
|
You can edit this folder later. You can also specify additional folders that you want to be available in Print Station. For more information, refer to Administrative Setup Dialog and Creating Root Folders. |
Folder: Specifies the path to the folder that monitors for BarTender documents (*.btw), process files (*.btproc), and BTXML script files (*.btxml). You can also specify a folder in Librarian by using the lib://<Folder> syntax.
Browse: Displays the Windows Browse for Folder dialog. This dialog defaults to the folder that is currently defined in the Folder field. If that location does not exist, the dialog defaults to the Desktop folder. After you select a directory, the folder that is selected in the dialog is pasted into the Folder field.
Exit: Exits the Print Station application.

Any path that you use is relative to the user who is logged on to the computer, if the selected path is under the user profile directory. For example, suppose that the selected Folder path points to the "Documents" directory. If one user logs on to the computer by using the "MyUserAccount1" account, Print Station displays all BarTender documents in the C:\Users\MyUserAccount1\Documents directory. If another user logs on to the same computer by using the "MyUserAccount2" account, Print Station displays all BarTender documents in the C:\Users\MyUserAccount2\Documents directory. |
