History Explorer provides a way to easily view information about your printing environment and the items you are printing from the BarTender Suite. By storing BarTender documents and print job information in the BarTender System Database, History Explorer allows you to access images of old templates that otherwise may be inaccessible via the BarTender interface. You can view information about your print jobs using History Explorer's panes, which contain filtered information from the BarTender System Database.

The History Explorer panes are accessible via the View Selector pane. By default, this pane appears docked on the left side of the application window, and contains a variety of predefined views, filters, and sorting options. Each view contains a list of filters that are included in History Explorer. For examples, you can choose to view all BarTender print jobs, or simply those jobs with errors.

• BarTender Suite: Messages: Displays information about alert messages encountered by applications in the BarTender Suite.

• BarTender: Print Jobs: Displays information about print jobs sent from BarTender.

• Printer Maestro: Print Jobs: Displays information about all print jobs detected by the Printer Maestro service, including non-BarTender jobs.

• Printer Maestro: Printer Events: Displays information about printer events recorded by Printer Maestro.

• Printer Maestro: Inventory Events: Displays information about the inventory of printer supplies.

• Security Center: Permission Checks: Displays information about user access to applications in the BarTender Suite.
