The Clock data source type is used to read the date and/or time from a system or printer clock when the document is printed. You can select the format of the date and/or time and define its appearance using the Data Type tab of the Data Sources property page.
The Clock-specific options on the Data Source tab of the Data Sources property page include:
Use Printer's Clock: When enabled, retrieves the date and/or time from the printer's clock instead of the system clock on the computer.
Printer Clock Options:

To use the printer's clock, you must have a device-based font chosen on the Font property page. All data sources within the selected object must use the same printer font in order for this option to be enabled. Additionally, if you decide to use the printer's clock, you cannot refer to the clock data source in a custom VBScript. |
