Understanding the Print Wizard

When a document has any of the following features enabled, BarTender will display dialogs at the start of a print job. The combination of one or more of these dialogs is called the Print Wizard.

• Enter data for query. Allows you to prompt for query criteria at print time.

• Select Records To Print. Allows you to select records to be read from a database at print-time.

• True Type Font Warning. Specifies how to handle print jobs for documents containing objects using TrueType fonts.

• Starting Position. Specifies which item on a page of multiple items should be used as the first item printed.

• Print To File. Saves the contents of a document as a file containing print code rather than sending the print job directly to the printer.
