Print Wizard - Print To File Dialog |
The Print to File option, found on the Print dialog, allows you to print your documents to a file rather than directly to a printer. This option gives you a quick alternative to using the Windows Control Panel to connect your printer to a file. Printing your documents to a file can be useful, especially in the following situations:
To save the print output data in order to print your items at a later time.
To print your items from another computer.
To view or edit the print output data for various purposes.
When the Print to File option is selected,
To continue a print job from the Print Wizard
Type in the path and file name of the file where the document's print code should be saved.
If desired, enable the option Auto Overwrite. This option will automatically replace any data contained inside an existing file with the same path and file name with the print code. If a file exists and this option is not enabled,
Press the ENTER key to continue to the next dialog in the print wizard or to execute the print job. Alternatively, click Print to execute the print job, Enter Data to proceed to the data entry form, or Next to open the next dialog in the print wizard.
