Customizing Toolbars

When customizing the BarTender user interface, you may wish to modify the visibility, position, or size of the toolbars that are included with the BarTender application.

To hide a toolbar, select Toolbars from the View menu. Select the checkmark next to the desired toolbar title to remove it. Alternatively, you can open the context menu on the toolbar and deselect it from the Toolbar Context Menu.

To view a toolbar that is not currently visible, select Toolbars from the View menu. In the submenu, select the toolbar that you wish to view. Alternatively, you can open the Toolbar Context Menu and select the desired toolbar.

The Main, Object, View, Text and Line and Shape Toolbars initially display directly below the main menu bar. The arrange toolbar displays along the right side of the screen, while the Status Bar displays along the bottom of the screen. All toolbars, except the status bar, can be repositioned using one of the following techniques:

• Drag it to any of the sides of the BarTender application window.

• Drag it above, below, or to one side of one of the existing toolbars.

• Turn it into a floating toolbar by dragging it to any location on your computer screen.

The toolbar icons can be resized by opening the Toolbar Context Menu, and selecting the desired icon size of your choice. The available options include Small Icons, Large Icons, and Auto-Sized Icons, which will determine the size of the icons based on the dimensions of the BarTender application window.
