Printers

You can use this section of the Administration menu to view and manage your printers and printer groups.

BarTender Cloud uses the Print Gateway service to connect to your local printers and to the printers that are shared by other users within your account. For more information, refer to About the Print Gateway Service.

Direct-Connect Printing

Direct-connect printing enables a Zebra DNA printer to connect directly to BTC using a WebSocket connection. When direct-connect printing is turned on and a Zebra printer using Zebra DNA is selected for the print, the label is printed directly on the Zebra printer, bypassing the Print Gateway or a Windows virtual machines. The direct-connect printers appear in the Printer list and on the Printers page and can be selected normally.
