Print Settings |
Use this page to specify print settings, reprint settings, and the print history data retention policy that you want to use. The following options are available.
Print Settings

Automatically return to document selection after printing has completed: Specifies that the user is returned to the Print Console view when the print job finishes.

Skip print confirmation dialog: Specifies that the print confirmation dialog is not displayed after a successful print job.

Maximum Preview Images: Specifies the maximum number of print preview images that BarTender Cloud generates for the Print Preview display. Use this feature to avoid excessive memory use if your printed documents contain a large number of printed items.

Save documents after printing: Specifies whether and when BarTender Cloud saves documents after they are printed.

When a document is selected: Specifies how BarTender Cloud behaves when a document is selected.
Reprint Settings

Allow reprinting multiple copies: Specifies that the user can reprint more than one copy of the print job or individual item.

Allow reprinting to different printer than original: Specifies that the user can send items to a different printer than the printer that the original print job used.
Print History Retention Policy

Retain print job history for: Specifies the length of time for which you want to keep data that is related to print jobs. The lower this setting, the less storage will be needed to retain print job history.

Retain print item history for: Specifies the length of time for which you want to keep data that is related to printed items. The lower this setting, the less storage will be needed to retain print item history.

Purge unwanted images after: Specifies the length of time after which you want to permanently delete images of printed items. Images take up significantly more storage than documents; the lower this setting, the less storage will be needed to retain history.
