Text Toolbar |
The text toolbar provides you with lists and buttons that correspond to the options that are on the Font property page.
Specifies the typeface family of the text in the selected object. For more information about the typefaces that are available, refer to Supported Fonts.
Specifies the point size of the text in the selected object.
Applies the bold font style to the text of the selected object. If the bold font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Applies the italicized font style to the selected text. If the italicized font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Applies the underlined font style to the selected text. If the underlined font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Applies the strikethrough font style to the selected text. If the strikethrough font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Applies the subscript font style to the selected text so that the text is offset below the baseline and slightly reduced in font size. If the subscript font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Applies the superscript font style to the selected text so that the text is offset above the baseline and slightly reduced in font size. If the superscript font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Displays the currently selected color of the selected text. To select a different color, click this option, and then use the Color Picker to select the color that you want. For more information, refer to Changing an Object's Color.
Displays the currently selected text background color for the selected text. To select a different color, click this option, and then use the Color Picker to select the color that you want. For more information, refer to Changing an Object's Color.
Applies the white-on-black font style to the selected text so that the text appears as white characters on a black background. If the white on black font style is currently applied to the text, you can click this icon to remove the font style.
Specifies a single line of text with no wrapping.
Specifies left alignment for the lines of text in a wrapped (paragraph) text object.
Specifies center alignment for the lines of text in a wrapped text object.
Specifies right alignment for the lines of text in a wrapped text object.
Specifies justified alignment for the lines of text in a wrapped text object.
Specifies distributed alignment for the lines of text in a wrapped text object.
Automatically fits text within the specified object by adjusting properties such as point size, scale, and spacing.
Switches the wrapping behavior of the object's text between the default behavior and smart behavior, which specifies how the text wraps within its borders, around other objects on the template, and within the template borders. You can also specify smart wrapping and additional wrapping behaviors on the object's Text Format property page.

When you click the Wrap to Borders () button, any wrapping behavior that was previously specified on the Wrap tab of the Text Format property page is permanently removed. |
Opens the Toolbar Options menu. By using this menu, you can access toolbar options that might be hidden when the size of the BarTender window does not allow the entire toolbar to be displayed. You can also add or remove a toolbar button, as described in Adding and Removing Buttons and Commands, and open the Customize dialog for advanced toolbar customization.
