Using Library Phrase Data Sources |
A Library Phrase data source uses a phrase from a phrase library that is contained in a Data Builder database. By using Library Phrase data sources, you can share frequently used phrases in multiple BarTender documents to provide consistency across documents and to prevent duplication of effort. Additionally, when your phrase library includes translations of the phrases into one or more other languages, you can configure the Library Phrase data source so that the phrase is printed in the language that you specify at print time.

Phrase libraries can also be created by using the Embedded Data Table Editor, but because such libraries are contained in a database that is embedded in one document, they can only be used as Database Field data sources for that document. They are not available to be used as Library Phrase data sources. For more information, refer to Using the Embedded Data Table Editor. |
