Running Database Maintenance

We recommend that you schedule automatic maintenance, and at times, you may need to run your system maintenance manually to delete and archive your oldest logged information from the BarTender System Database.

Administration Console provides the following methods to manually run your system maintenance.

ClosedTo run database maintenance by using the Maintenance page

  1. In the left navigation pane of Administration Console, click System Database.

  2. Under System Database, click Maintenance to open the Maintenance page.

  3. In the Schedule section, click Run Now. Database maintenance starts immediately.

  4. Click OK to close Administration Console.

ClosedTo run database maintenance by using the Administrative Tasks page

  1. In the left navigation pane of Administration Console, click System Database.

  2. Under System Database, click Administrative Tasks to open the Administrative Tasks page.

  3. In the Maintenance section, click Run Maintenance Now. Database maintenance starts immediately.

  4. Click OK to close Administration Console.
