Do not purge records until you stop all applications that are actively sending information to the BarTender System Database and back up your database.
Administrative Tasks Page |
Use the Administrative Tasks page to perform additional tasks related to the BarTender System Database. To access the page, expand the System Database node in the left navigation pane of Administration Console, and then click Administrative Tasks.
The following options are available.
Maintenance
View Database Size: Opens the BarTender System Database Size dialog.
Run Maintenance Now: Starts the maintenance task, which deletes the database records as specified on the Maintenance page.
Backup and Restore
Backup Database: Saves a backup file of the BarTender System Database.
Restore Database: Restores the BarTender System Database from a previously saved backup file.
Purge Records
Purge All Records Now: Deletes all information that was logged to the BarTender System Database, including all print jobs and messages. This operation does not affect any files that are stored in Librarian, global data fields, or other configuration data.
