BarTender System Database Size Dialog

Use the BarTender System Database Size dialog to display how much disk space is used in the BarTender System Database for storing database tables and files. To open this dialog, click View Database Size on the Administrative Tasks page.

The following information is displayed.

Database Tables

This area shows table usage data for information that is logged from BarTender, based on how logging was configured in the BarTender Log Setup dialog. This area also shows usage data for Librarian and Printer Maestro, if they are installed on your system.

The Integrations Data row shows how much disk space is used to log integration events. If you find that integration event logging is using more disk space than you want it to, you can configure the Integration Event Logging settings on the System Database page to reduce or eliminate the logging of some kinds of integration events. For more information, refer to Configuring Integration Event Logging.

Database Files

This area shows how much disk space is reserved for the system database (including tables and indexes) and the database transaction log for the system database. When the reserved space nears capacity, the Database Manager reserves additional disk space, which expands the database, as long as that additional space is available.
