Viewing Documents |
By using the File menu, the View menu, and the design area, you can view the various components of your document throughout the creation and editing process and view and preview the document as a whole.
On the File menu, the following viewing options are available:
Open: Opens the Open Document dialog so that you can open an existing saved document.
Page Setup: Opens the Page Setup dialog, where you can edit and preview the page setup configuration for your document.
Print Preview: Opens the Print Preview so that you can see how the document will appear when it is printed. For more information, refer to Print Preview.

On the View menu, the following viewing options are available:
Template Design: Opens the Template Design view so that you can view the templates in your document.
Data Entry Form: Opens the Data Entry Form view so that you can view the data entry forms in your document.

You can also switch between the Template Design view and the Data Entry Form view by using the template and data entry form tabs at the bottom of the design area. |
Other viewing options, such as Zoom In, Zoom Out, Fit Template in Window, and so on, are available so that you can customize the document view.
In the design area, whether you are in the Template Design view or the Data Entry Form view, you can change the view by using the following methods:
To view a template, click the template tab that you want at the bottom of the design area.
To view a data entry form, click the form tab that you want at the bottom of the design area.

When you use the BarTender scrolling tools, it is possible to "lose" the template or data entry form by scrolling it completely out of the design area. When this occurs, a Find Template or Find Form button appears on the right side of the top ruler. Click this button to automatically center the template or data entry form in the design area.
