Filter by Attribute Dialog |
Use the Filter by Attribute dialog to configure filter criteria based on the event's attributes. This dialog is displayed when you click an attribute in the New Filters dialog, such as "Filter by Printer Name" or "Filter by User-Defined Attribute" or when you right-click an attribute criterion and then click Edit Criteria. This attribute is displayed in the title bar of the dialog.
The following options are available:
Attribute: Specifies the name of a user-defined inventory item attribute. You can define user-defined attributes in the Item Properties dialog. Available only when the User-Defined Attribute option is selected.
Condition: Specifies the condition that you want to use for the filter criteria. The selected condition is applied to the values that are entered in the Value control. The following conditions are available.

Events whose selected attribute is equal to any of the values pass the filter. |

Events whose selected attribute is not equal to any of the values pass the filter. |

Contains |
Events whose selected attribute contains any of the values pass the filter. |

Events whose selected attribute contains none of the values pass the filter. |
|
Matches Regular Expression |
Events whose selected attribute matches any of the regular expressions in the values pass the filter. |
Value: Specifies the values that you want to use with the selected condition. You can enter multiple values on separate lines.
