New Filter Dialog |
In Advanced mode, you can use the New Filter dialog to select a field to use to create new event filter criteria. Filter criteria define a rule that an event must pass for a notification message to be sent by the currently selected target. You can combine individual filter criteria in various ways to create more complex rules. For more information, refer to Advanced Mode in the Events tab section of the Event Setup Dialog topic.
To open this dialog, right-click a filter group, and then click Add Criteria.
The following option is available:
Select a field to filter by: Specifies the new filter field. Click a field in the list, and then click OK. Depending on the field that you select, the Filter by Category, Filter by Severity, Filter by Message ID, or Filter by Attribute dialog is displayed. Use that dialog to configure the new filter criteria.
