Adding Objects to a Layout Grid Object

After you add a layout grid object to the template, place the objects that you want to print in the grid format within the cells of the layout grid object. You can do this by creating a new object directly in a cell or by dragging an existing object to a cell.

On the object toolbar, click the icon for the type of object that you want to add. Alternatively, click the object type on the Create menu.
On the sub-menu, click the object that you want. For line objects, skip this step.
Click the cell where you want to add the object. For line objects, click and drag to the endpoint of the line.
Open the Object Properties dialog to configure the new object. To do this, double-click the object. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click the object, and then click Properties.

Click the object that you want, hold the mouse button down, and then drag the object to the cell where you want the object placed.
