Property Pages for Layout Grid and Table Objects |
The table and layout grid objects support property pages for configuring columns and rows and a property page for configuring cell alignment. The table object also supports a property page for configuring borders and shading, and when the table is connected to a database, there is an additional property page for configuring how the table data is presented.
Borders and Shading Property Page
Use the Borders and Shading property page when you configure a table object to show or hide table or cell borders, specify line style for table or cell borders, and specify shading options for rows and columns in the table or individual table cells.
Use the Cell Alignment property page to configure the alignment of a cell within a table or layout grid object. This property page is available in the Object Properties dialog for any object that you place in a cell and replaces the Position property page for the object.
Use the Columns property page to add and delete columns and to specify alignment, width, and other options for each column in a table or layout grid or object.
Use the Layout Grid property page to specify minimum and maximum height and width for a layout grid object and to specify grid line visibility in the Template Design view.
Use the Rows property page to add and delete rows and to specify alignment, height, and other options for each row in a table or layout grid object.
Use the Table Data property page to specify the source of the data that you want to populate the table rows or columns and to specify how you want that to be displayed in the object.
Use the Table property page to specify minimum and maximum height and width for a table object and to specify grid line visibility in the Template Design view.
