The Encoder Properties dialog provides access to the property pages for an RFID, magnetic stripe, or smart card encoder object. Depending on the encoder object that is selected, the actual dialog name is one of the following:

• RFID Properties

• Magnetic Stripe Properties

• Smart Card Properties

To open this dialog, double-click the object. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click the object, and then click Properties.

You can access the following property pages from the navigation pane: 

• Selected Object Property Page

• Encoder Property Page

• Security Property Page (Available for security-enabled RFID objects only)

• Error Handling Property Page

• Data Sources Property Page
