Selected Object Property Page |
The Selected Object property page, displayed when the object is selected in the navigation pane of the Object Properties dialog, defines the global properties of the selected object on the template.
When multiple objects are selected, there will be two Selected Object property pages available: one for all selected objects and another for the master selected object. You can recognize the master selected object by the green selection border outlining it: the secondary selected objects are outlined with gray selection borders. For more information about modifying multiple objects, refer to Selecting and Modifying Multiple Objects.
The following options are available:
Object Name: Specifies a name for the object, which can be used to refer to the object in VBScripts.
Comments: Specifies a comment for the selected object(s). The comments will appear in the status bar when the object is selected on the template.
Preprinted: When enabled, treats the specified object as if it is already printed on the media. If this option is selected, the selected object will not print, though it will appear in the Print Preview window.
Print When:
Opens the When to Print dialog, which determines specific conditions for printing the object.
