Configuring Data Sources |
When you add a data-sourced object to the template by using the Create menu or the object toolbar, the new object contains a single default Embedded Data data source that has a default data type of Text.
You can also create text objects by dragging the data source that you want from the Toolbox to the template, in which case the object's default data source is determined by the data source that you select.

For more information about how to create a text object by dragging a data source from the Toolbox, refer to Available Data Sources to reference the documentation for the data source that you want. |
After you place the object on the template, you can customize its data-sourced value by opening its Object Properties dialog. By using this dialog, you can add, delete, and modify data sources for the object.
