To start Data Builder, use one of the following methods:

• On the BarTender Tools menu, click Data Builder.

• On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, expand the BarTender folder, and then click Data Builder.

The Data Builder window includes the following components and controls on the quick access toolbar, which is displayed by default at the top of the window: 

• : Opens a menu that you can use to minimize, maximize, size, move, restore, or close the Data Builder window.

• : Saves the active Data Builder database file. If the file is new and was not previously saved, the Save As dialog is displayed when you click this icon.

• : Undoes the previous action.

• : Redoes the previously undone action.

• : Moves the quick access toolbar from its default position at the top of the window to below the ribbon and back again.
