BarTender Suite: Messages Pane |
The BarTender Suite: Messages pane, accessible by selecting a filter in the BarTender Suite: Messages view of the View Selector pane, displays the messages generated by applications in the BarTender Suite as they process print jobs.
BarTender can return messages of three different severities:
Errors: Prevents applications in the BarTender Suite from executing a print job. Error conditions must be resolved before you can continue to print or export a document to a printer code template.
Warnings: Notifies the user that the print output may not be as expected. It is not mandatory to resolve warnings before printing or exporting a document.
Informational Messages: Notifies the user of event that will not affect the printer output.
You can toggle the visibility of messages by severity using the icons on the top of the BarTender Suite: Messages pane. In addition, messages can be browsed using the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the pane.
When an application in the BarTender Suite generates a message, it stores information about the message as fields in the BarTender System Database. This information can be viewed by adding or removing columns in the BarTender Suite: Messages pane. The following information is stored about each message in the BarTender System Database:
