Configuring Print Portal |
Once you have installed Print Portal, you will need to configure security for the application, define the folders that users can access for printing BarTender documents, and configure the printers that the documents can be printed to. Most configuration options can be specified on the Administrative Setup page.
|
If authentication has been enabled for Print Portal and security is also enabled in BarTender Administration Console, the Administrative Setup page can be accessed only by users with Administer permission for BarTender Print Portal, as specified in Administration Console. For more information about Print Portal authentication, refer to Configuring Application and Document Security. |
The Administrative Setup page allows you to configure the general application settings for Print Portal that determine how the user interface appears and functions for your print operators. It also allows you to manage security settings and configure document folders and printer options that will be available to print operators.
