Creating or Connecting to a System Database

The BarTender System Database can be created when BarTender is installed or it can be created at a later time using the System Database Setup Wizard. The System Database Setup Wizard allows you to create a new BarTender System Database or connect to an existing one.

You can run the System Database Setup Wizard when both of the following conditions are met: 

ClosedTo create or connect to a system database

  1. In Administration Console's left Navigation Pane, click System Database to open the System Database page.

  2. At the top of the page, click the System Database Setup Wizard link to open the wizard.

  3. Complete the wizard to create a new system database or to connect to an existing system database.

  4. Once you have completed and closed the wizard, click OK to close Administration Console.
