Administration Console is an application in the BarTender Suite that allows administrators to control and customize important aspects of BarTender such as security, the BarTender System Database, integrations, and Windows services.

You can navigate between the different sections of Administration Console by clicking the section nodes in the left Navigation Pane:

In This Section

• Security

  In the Security section of Administration Console you can enable or disable BarTender security, set user permissions, enable logging for permission checks, enable electronic signatures, and set encryption for BarTender documents. Required BarTender edition: Enterprise Automation.

• System Database

  The System Database section allows you to manage aspects of the BarTender System Database including message logging, caching, scheduled maintenance, and administrative tasks. Required BarTender edition: Automation or greater.

• Integrations

  Using the Integration section of Administration Console, you can deploy the integration files created in Integration Builder, and view, manage and delete previous deployments. You can also start or stop running an integration file and view the message logs generated by the running integrations. Required BarTender edition: Automation or greater.

• Windows Services

  Start and stop the Windows services related to applications in the BarTender Suite. Required BarTender edition: Automation or greater.

• File Locations

  Determine default file and folder locations for BarTender, Batch Maker, and Seagull License Server. Required BarTender edition: Basic or greater.
