Enabling Double-Sided Printing

Automatic duplex printing, or double-sided printing, enables you to print on two sides of a page without manually flipping pages over during or after a print job. When the printer's duplex feature is enabled, you can design multiple templates so that a single BarTender document prints on both sides of the page.

ClosedTo enable double-sided printing

  1. From the File menu, select Print to open the Print dialog. Alternatively, click the icon on the main toolbar.

  2. Select the Print tab.

  3. In the Printer section, enable Print on Both Sides.

  4. Configure any other desired print options.

  5. Click Print to execute the print job.

If the Print on Both Sides option is unavailable, you must first enable the duplex feature on your printer. To do so, select Printer Properties from the Print tab of the Print dialog. Depending on the printer model, look for options such as "Print on both sides", "Enable duplex printing", or "Two-sided printing".
