Creating and Modifying Template Objects |
Adding Objects to the Template
The basic method for creating an object on the template is quite simple: Select the appropriate object from BarTender's user interface and click the location on the template where you want to add the object. Of course, depending on the object type, additional steps may be required.
Using the Object Properties dialog, you can access an object's property pages and customize many aspects of the object including linked data sources, font styles, color, and position.
You can add several different types of objects to the template to support your design needs.
You can change font type and size and show emphasis with bold, italicized, or underlined characters. You can also specify text alignment and whether text is a single line, paragraph, or arc format, as well as change font, line, and fill colors.
There are many ways to arrange objects on the template.
Selecting and Modifying Multiple Objects
You can select multiple objects at once using two different methods. Once multiple objects are selected, you can move them and modify their properties as a group. You can use this group temporarily or you can specify the selected objects as an object group so that you can subsequently select the whole group again with a single click.
