Resizing Objects on the Data Entry Form |
At times, you may wish to resize the objects on the data entry form. Although there are several different types of objects which you can place on a data entry form, the basic process of increasing or decreasing the size of each object is the same. The easiest way to resize is using your mouse.
To resize an object using your mouse
Click on the object you want to resize to select it.
Position the pointer cursor over one of the four corner handles to resize both height and width. To resize in only one direction, position the pointer over one of the side handles, or over the top-center or bottom-center handle.
Click and hold the primary mouse button.
Drag the selected handle until the object is the desired size.
Release the mouse button.

You can also resize an object using the Control Properties dialog for the selected object. Below is a list of objects you can use on the data entry form along with the property pages needed to resize the object.
Text Control. On the Text property page, you can modify the width of a paragraph of text.
Text Input Box Control. On the Text Input Box property page, you can modify the width and height of the text input box.
Check Box Control. On the Check Box property page, you can modify the width of the check box combined with the display text.
Radio Button List Control. On the Radio Button List property page, you can modify the width and height of the radio button list combined with the display text.
List Box Control. On the List Box property page, you can modify the width and height of the list box.
Dropdown List Control. On the Dropdown List property page, you can modify the width and height of the dropdown list.
Group Box Control. On the Group Box property page, you can modify the width and height of the selected group box.
Line Control. On the Line property page, you can modify the length of the line object.
Picture Control. On the Picture property page, you can modify the width and height of the picture object.
