Edit Menu

The Edit menu contains options that allow you to cut, copy, and delete one or more objects from a template. These capabilities are possible by using the Windows clipboard.

The clipboard is a place in Windows memory where a copy of a single object or group of objects can be stored. It gives you the ability to transfer objects created in BarTender easily from one template to another, or even between different documents. The clipboard, combined with options in the Edit menu, can be used to add bitmap images created in other programs to templates in BarTender. (A bitmap is an image or picture composed of individual dots. Bitmaps are usually stored in a format which can be used by many different programs.)

The Edit menu also allows you to undo and redo actions, edit the data embedded into an object, and export objects from BarTender.

The Edit menu options are summarized below.
