Using the Data Edit Tool

The Data Edit tool, available from the Edit menu or by clicking the icon, allows you to modify an text object's text directly from the template. If the object contains multiple data sources, or is a barcode >or encoder object, the Data Edit tool will open the Modify Embedded Data dialog, where you can easily modify the text of the object.

Once you have displayed the Modify Embedded Data dialog, proceed to edit the data for your template or data entry form in the usual manner.
