Using the Paste Unformatted Command

The Paste Unformatted command, available from the Edit menu, places the contents of the clipboard into the upper left corner of the template. If you use the Paste Unformatted command with a text object, the text will be placed on the template using the default BarTender font, rather than the object's original formatting. To place an item on the clipboard, use either the Cut or Copy command. Once an object has been pasted on the template, you can reposition it by selecting the object and dragging it into position.

You can also use the Paste or Paste Unformatted command to paste text into an already existing text object. The pasted text will automatically acquire the font in use at the point of insertion regardless of which command you use.

To paste text that maintains it original formatting, use the Paste command.

If the clipboard is empty, the Paste Unformatted command is disabled.
