Roles Page

In the Administration section of the BarTender Cloud menu, click Security, then Roles to display this page. Use the Roles page to create new user roles, view and search existing roles, and edit or delete roles. The following options are available:

• Create Role: Opens the Create Role dialog so that you can add and configure new roles.

• : Searches the role list for a specific role.

• : Enables you to choose which columns display on this page.

• Name: The roles are displayed in this column by name.

• Access: Lists the permissions assigned to the corresponding role.

• Users: Displays the number of users assigned to the corresponding role.

• : Displays the roles that are in use, including the permissions that are assigned to each role. To edit or delete a role, click to display a menu that provides the following options:

  • Edit: Displays the Edit Role dialog, which you can use to rename the role and to add or remove permissions.

  • Delete: Opens the Delete Role dialog so that you can delete the selected role.

• : Click to reorder any of the items on the user list by ascending or descending order for the selected column. To return to the orignal order, click again.
