Saving BarTender Documents

You can use the Save, Save As, or Print to File commands to save changes that you made to an open BarTender document. Additionally, you can specify save settings inside BarTender.

The Save command saves modifications to an already existing file, while the Save As command is used to save a newly created file. Use the Print to File option, which you can access from the Print dialog, to save the document in the special language of your printer.

The Document Recovery feature automatically saves changes that are made to the document at the specified time interval. The more often you automatically save your documents, the more information can be recovered in the event of a power failure. To use Document Recovery, click to select the Save auto-recovery information check box on the BarTender Document Setup dialog.
