Text Object |
By using a text object, you can place text or a text symbol on the template. You can create the text at design time or use a data source or data entry form control to insert the text at print time.
You can add many types of text objects to your template, including the standard normal (single line) and normal wrapped (paragraph) types, several transformed text objects (such as arc, bend, and wave), and symbol font characters that support industry-specific graphic symbols.
The procedures that you use to modify the contents of a text object differ depending on the selected text object type.
Use this dialog to access the property pages for normal, normal wrapped, transformed, and symbol font character text objects to customize these objects to your design needs.
When you add a word processor text object to your template, you can use the BarTender Word Processor to add Rich Text Format (RTF) text and to format and modify the contents of the object.
Markup Language Container Text Object
When you add a markup language container text object to your template, you can use tags or code to define the layout or format of the text.
