Turning Off Actions Temporarily

At times, you might need to temporarily prevent actions from running, such as when you are debugging or modifying the document design or previewing a document.

ClosedTo turn off actions in a document

  1. On the File menu, click BarTender Document Options.

  2. In the BarTender Document Options dialog, click the Actions tab.

  3. In the Document Actions area, click to clear the Enable document-level actions check box.

ClosedTo turn off actions for a specific form

  1. Open the Form Properties dialog. To do this, double-click the data entry form. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click the form, and then click Form Properties.

  2. In the navigation pane, click the top node to access the Selected Control property page for the form.

  3. Click the icon next to the Show When field.

  4. In the When to Show dialog, click to select the Never option, and then click OK.

ClosedTo turn off actions for all forms

  1. On the Print tab of the Print dialog, click the Options mini-tab.

  2. Click to clear the Enable data entry check box.
