Creating a Data Builder Database

To start Data Builder, use one of the following methods:

On the BarTender Tools menu, click Data Builder.
On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, expand the BarTender folder, and then click Data Builder.

To create a new Data Builder database, use one of the following methods:

In the Start window, click either Create Data Table or Create Phrase Library to create your database with a data table or a phrase library. After you create the initial data table or phrase library, you can add more tables and libraries to the database as needed.
In the Main window, click the Administration tab, and then click New. A new database is created with either a data table or a phrase library, depending on which of these items you were most recently configuring.
