Use the Data Builder Main window to configure the data tables and/or phrase libraries in your database. To access this window from the Start window, click Create Data Table or Create Phrase Library, or click a recently created Data Builder database file in the Recent list.

The Main window includes the following components and controls on the quick access toolbar, which is displayed by default at the top of the window: 

• : Opens a menu that you can use to minimize, maximize, size, move, restore, or close the Data Builder window.

• : Saves the active Data Builder database file. If the file is new and was not previously saved, the Save As dialog is displayed when you click this icon.

• : Undoes the previous action.

• : Redoes the previously undone action.

• : Moves the quick access toolbar from its default position at the top of the window to below the ribbon and back again.

  Data Builder includes Administration , Home, and Fields tabs, which display options that you can use to create and manage your databases.

• Data Table Views

  When you create or modify a data table in a Data Builder database, you can view and modify the data itself on the Data View tab and view or modify the structure of the data table on the Design View tab.

• Phrase Library View

  Use the Phrase Library view to add or remove phrases and languages and to automatically translate phrases into other languages.
