Folders Pane |
The Folders pane displays the folders and subfolders in the file repository as a directory tree so that you can view and organize your files.
The following directories are displayed by default:
Waiting for My Approval: Displays in the Files pane the files that are currently designated in a workflow as needing your review. This directory is read-only.
Checked Out to Me: Displays in the Files pane the files that are currently checked out to you. This directory is read-only.
Library: Displays the files in the Librarian repository and provides the following functionality:
Create as many new folders and subfolders in this directory as you need. To do this, right-click Library, and then click Add. Alternatively, click Library, and then click Create New Folder on the File menu.
Reorganize files and folders by using a drag-and-drop operation to move them to the location that you want in the Library directory. For example, you can drag files and folders from one folder to another. (When you move a folder, all of its subfolders and files are also moved to the new location.) You can also drag a file from the Files pane to a new folder in the Library directory.
Show or hide subfolders and files by clicking the icon for a folder to expand it or clicking the icon for a folder to collapse it.
In the Library directory, when you right-click a folder or select a folder and then right-click the Folders pane, a menu is displayed. The options that are available depend on the folder that is selected and include the following:
Add: Opens the Add File(s) dialog, which you can use to browse to and add BarTender documents, images, or other files to the currently selected folder. For more information, refer to Adding a File.
