Selecting Multiple Objects

Use the Select command to select multiple objects. After you select a set of objects, you can easily move the entire group while maintaining the spacing within the group. You can also modify the property options that are shared by the selected objects to quickly change the appearance of all the selected objects at one time.

You can use this option together with the Group command to combine multiple selected objects into a single object group.

ClosedTo select a group of objects

  1. On the Edit menu, click Select. Alternatively, click the icon on the main toolbar.

  2. On the template, place the cursor outside one of the four corners of the group of objects that you want, and then drag the cursor from the starting corner of the group of objects to be selected to the diagonally opposite corner.

To select a group of non-barcode objects, you must define a rectangle that completely encloses the objects that you want. Any object that is not completely within the bounding box of the rectangle is not selected. However, for barcode objects, you need to enclose only 50 percent of the objects to select them.
