Scaling Options

Usually, scaling options are logically independent from settings that are specified in an object's Properties dialog. However, an object's type and settings can affect how scaling options are applied. For example, the width-to-height ratio for a barcode object is not precisely preserved even when you select the Scale Proportionally option, because barcode objects must be resized at specific intervals in order to remain readable. In this case, the object’s own settings take precedence over the selected scaling option.
